In addition to its nuclear projects, John Cockerill is making significant investments in India’s green hydrogen industry. In collaboration with Greenko, the company is developing a two-gigawatt electrolyser manufacturing facility in Kakinada. Production at this plant is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026, contributing to India’s efforts in green energy transition.

John Cockerill specializes in replacing and upgrading essential nuclear components to improve safety standards and extend the operational lifespan of nuclear power plants. The company provides machining, on-site repair, and engineering services for reactors ranging from 900 MW to 1,450 MW, ensuring continued efficiency and reliability in nuclear operations.

By expanding its presence in both nuclear and renewable energy sectors, John Cockerill is strengthening its role in India's evolving energy landscape.
