Jharkhand cabinet nods to inter-state bus terminal


The Jharkhand cabinet has authorised a proposal to build an inter-state bus terminal and WRD office/commercial facilities in Jamshedpur. The facility will be built on 13.7 acres of land along Highway 33.

According to him, the bus terminal will be erected on 7.37 acres of land, the WRD office on 3.81 acres, and the commercial facilities on the remaining land lot.

The cabinet also sanctioned Rs 704 million for the project, which would be implemented through a public-private partnership, according to an official from the urban development department.

The government approved a proposal to build three critical care health block hospitals in the districts of Lohardaga, Khunti, and Saraikela Kharswan.
