Jaipur: JDA introduces online tool for lease deed fee calculation
The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has introduced an online auto-calculation facility to help residents calculate lease deed fees and related charges conveniently. This service eliminates the need for plot owners to visit the JDA office, as they can now access the necessary information through the JDA website from their homes. Currently, this facility is available only for the Prithviraj Nagar (PRN) region.
The authority plans to expand the service to all zones once data from other authorized colonies is integrated into the system.
A JDA official explained that a dedicated link has been added to the website, allowing plot owners to compute charges such as lease deed fees, name transfer costs, subdivision charges, and plot reorganisation expenses. The official noted that plot owners can now calculate these charges exclusively on the website.
To use the service, plot owners need to visit the JDA website and select the option titled *‘Calculator for Lease Deed / Patta – Prithviraj Nagar Only’*. They must then provide details such as the property area and the date of the colony's first camp. By clicking *‘Calculation’*, users receive detailed information about various charges, including allotment fees, urban Jamabandi, administrative costs, BSUP shelter fund contributions, development charges, building construction approval fees, rainwater conservation security, and other applicable charges.
A senior official highlighted that the service caters to both residential and commercial properties. The initiative aims to simplify the process, saving property owners time and effort by making essential information easily accessible online. The auto-calculation facility represents a significant step in JDA's digital transformation journey, enhancing convenience and accessibility for residents.
