Last week, the IT Ministry, in collaboration with UNESCO, held a consultation with stakeholders on AI safety and ethics, as India works on creating an inclusive AI policy under the 'AI for All' vision. This aligns with India’s ambitious 'IndiaAI Mission,' which has secured over Rs 10,000 crore in funding.

The mission's primary focus is to ensure that AI development remains safe, ethical, and accountable. By promoting indigenous frameworks and self-assessment tools, the IndiaAI Mission aims to empower innovators and make AI benefits accessible across all sectors.
