Infosys, Lufthansa to Launch Aviation Tech Centre in Bengaluru

Infosys has announced a strategic long-term collaboration with Lufthansa Group (LHG) and Lufthansa Systems GmbH (LSY) to drive digital transformation in the aviation sector. As part of this partnership, Infosys and LSY will establish a dedicated Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Bengaluru to enhance Lufthansa Group’s software and product development. The centre will also support LSY’s aviation products for external airline customers. The GCC will focus on developing future-ready aviation IT solutions and data-driven technologies using Infosys Topaz, an AI-first platform that leverages generative AI. These solutions aim to improve aviation safety, operational efficiency, and customer experience while helping airlines manage demand fluctuations. By adopting modern technologies and AI, the GCC will accelerate Lufthansa Group’s digital transformation. It will also enhance critical aviation functions, including finance, flight navigation, network and schedule design, and aircraft and crew operations. (CNBCTV18)
