Indore Inaugurates 9-Km Ganpati Ghat Road to Improve Safety on NH3


A new 9-km alternative road route at Ganpati Ghat, a notorious accident blackspot on the Agra-Mumbai NH3, was inaugurated on Saturday. The event was attended by Union Minister Savitri Thakur, Indore MP Shankar Lalwani, and local officials.

The inauguration included a traditional ceremony followed by the flagging off of vehicles. Thakur highlighted the urgency of the project, emphasizing its role in reducing accidents and waiting times for vehicles in the region.

This newly inaugurated road will significantly enhance safety and provide an alternative route, reducing congestion and accidents. Traffic is expected to flow smoothly within 15 days as the project is fully integrated into the region’s transportation network.
