Hyderabad’s Megha to construct Mongolia's first greenfield oil refinery

Megha Engineering and Infrastructure (MEIL) of Hyderabad has begun work on Mongolia's first Greenfield oil refinery on the outskirts of the capital city of Ulaanbaatar. The project's goal is to reduce the East Asian country's reliance on Russian oil imports. For $790 million, the company would provide EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) services as well as EPC-3 (captive power plants) using advanced technology. The project is part of India's Ministry of External Affairs' development partnership administration initiative. The refinery would be built with the help of a central government line of credit. The project management consultant for this G2G partnership project is Engineers India. The refinery will create a number of job opportunities while also supporting the growth of nearly small industries.
