Gujarat Set to Host World’s Largest Homeopathy Gathering for Homeopathy Day 2025

World Homeopathy Day is celebrated on 10th April every year. To celebrate this day in 2025, the Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH), the National Commission for Homeopathy (NCH), and the National Institute of Homeopathy (NIH) will be hosting a two-day grand convention at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The Ministry of Ayush has announced that the theme of the convention this year is ‘Education, Practice and Research’ which reflects the central tenets of homeopathic medicine.

The convention will be inaugurated by Prataprao Jadhav who is the Union Minister of State of the Ayush Ministry, as well the Minister of State in the Health and Family Welfare Ministry. The event is expected to be the largest gathering of homeopathy in history, with over 10,000 delegates from across the world attending. These delegates comprise not only academics and researchers but also policymakers and industry experts. The goal of the conference is to showcase the application, advancements, and impact of homeopathy in both healthcare and industry.

A focal point of the event will be the ‘Live Materia Medica’ competition which aims to produce thought provoking sessions and deliberations. The activity will take place in Jamnagar at the WHO’s first Global Traditional Medicine Centre and will strengthen Gujarat’s position as a frontrunner in alternative systems of medicine.

Subash Kaushik, Director General of the CCRH, said the event will spotlight the key role of homeopathy in India’s future.
