Greenzo wecures Rs 500 cr contract for 120 MW solar project in Nepal
Greenzo Energy, a leading renewable energy company, has secured a ?500 crore contract to develop a 120 MW ground-mounted solar project in Nepal. The project, which will be completed in phases by 2025, will be spread across 12 clusters, each generating 10 MW. A high-tension transmission line will connect the project to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) grid, enabling surplus power to be fed back into the national grid.
As India’s only indigenous alkaline electrolyzer manufacturer, Greenzo will serve as the EPC provider for this large-scale solar installation. Managing Director Sandeep Agarwal emphasized the strategic importance of the project in advancing sustainable energy solutions and fostering cross-border energy collaboration.
The solar initiative will create over 500 local jobs, with Kushal Agarwal, Executive Director of Greenzo, overseeing its end-to-end execution. The project also underscores Greenzo’s commitment to sustainable development and its growing influence as a trusted partner for renewable energy in South Asia.
