Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway to Boost UP-Haryana Connectivity
India’s infrastructure push gets a major boost with the upcoming Gorakhpur-Panipat Expressway, a 750 km stretch set to ease travel between Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has appointed a Delhi-based ICT firm as the project consultant, tasked with preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) and overseeing land demarcation.
As part of India’s focus on enhancing regional connectivity, this expressway will improve travel efficiency and strengthen links between the two states. Several highway projects are already underway in 2025, with some nearing completion and others set to begin soon, reflecting the country’s heavy investment in infrastructure development.
