Godrej & Boyce bags an MEP contract from BIAL worth Rs 107 cr


Godrej & Boyce told the media that its business Godrej Mechanical, Electrical, and Public health engineering (MEP), secured an MEP contract worth Rs 107 crore for the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) project.

Godrej Group said that the work of the project includes developing a Multi-Model Transportation Hub (MMTH) that will be built between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of the BIA and will cover around nine lakh sq ft area.

After Terminal 2 is operational, the MMTH can meet the current and future needs of both people and luggage movement in the airport area.

According to a statement, the goal of the MMTH is to have closed parking spaces with retail development at the ground level. With the development of 75 km of piping and 200 km of cables, Godrej MEP will be able to complete and deliver the project in just under six months.
