Garuda Aerospace Teams with French Thales to Boost Drone Ecosystem


French aerospace leader Thales revealed that it had entered into a preliminary agreement with Garuda Aerospace, a prominent UAV manufacturer, to enhance the development of the drone industry within the domestic market. Under the terms of this agreement, Thales will leverage its extensive knowledge and experience in several key areas, including unmanned traffic management (UTM) solutions, UAV detection, and system integration.

This contribution aims to bolster the infrastructure and technological framework necessary for advanced drone operations. In return, Garuda Aerospace will apply its expertise in manufacturing drones, ensuring that the production side of the ecosystem is robust and effective. This collaborative effort is expected to drive significant advancements in the drone sector, combining Thales' technological proficiency with Garuda's manufacturing capabilities.
