Gadkari urges auto industry to boost ethanol, flex fuel adoption


Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has called on the automobile industry to actively promote the adoption of ethanol and flex fuels. During a review meeting with representatives of the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) at Transport Bhawan, Gadkari discussed strategies to make these fuels more accessible and appealing to the public, according to a statement by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) on X (formerly Twitter).

The meeting focused on the industry's preparedness to introduce ethanol-powered vehicles, with participants outlining their upcoming plans to launch these models in the near future.
