Essar Expands Jet Fuel Supply to Nine UK Airports

Essar Energy Transition’s (EET) Fuels has signed agreements to supply jet fuel to two more major UK airports, expanding its network to nine airports across the country.

Operating from the Stanlow Refinery in Ellesmere Port, EET Fuels supplies 16% of the UK’s road transport fuels and plays a key role in the North West’s aviation industry.

Deepak Maheshwari, CEO of EET Fuels, stated that the expansion enhances fuel security and reliability while reinforcing the company’s leadership in the UK’s low-carbon energy transition.

The latest agreements build on existing partnerships with Manchester, Birmingham, London Stansted, Newcastle, Liverpool, Cardiff, and Leeds airports, further strengthening EET Fuels’ presence in the aviation sector.

Aviation Account Manager Ellese Munnerley emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality fuel solutions and expanding its direct supply to key demand centers.

The move aligns with EET Fuels’ broader strategy to integrate refined jet molecules from its Stanlow refinery directly into high-consumption areas, supporting the UK’s energy transition goals
