Dr. Vandana Singh Appointed Chairperson Aviation Cargo, FAII
The Federation of Aviation Industry in India (FAII) is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Vandana Singh as the Chairperson of its Aviation Cargo Wing. Dr. Singh, a globally recognsed leader with over 28 years of experience in the aviation and logistics industries, brings unparalleled expertise and visionary leadership to this pivotal role. As Chairperson, Dr. Singh will guide the development of innovative strategies to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of India’s aviation cargo operations and beyond. Her appointment underscores FAII's commitment to advancing India’s aviation industry in alignment with the National objectives of 'Make in India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat.'
FAII, registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and recognized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Ministry of External Affairs serves as a premier institution for addressing the functional and operational needs of civil aviation. The organization operates across diverse verticals, including aviation manufacturing, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), military aviation, drones, and cargo operations. FAII's recent initiatives include the conceptualization of an Aviation University aimed at creating a pipeline of highly skilled aviation professionals to meet global industry demands.
