Dilip Buildcon wins a contract for Surat Metro Rail Project Phase 1


Dilip Buildcon will carry out a contract deal with Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) for the Surat Metro Rail Project Phase 1 in Gujarat, according to a corporate filing with the stock exchanges.

The company signed a contract with the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation on 2nd December in continuation of the statement from October 15 and by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

For the Surat Metro Rail Project Phase – 1, Dilip Buildcon would build an 8.702 km elevated viaduct, seven stops, and corridor 2 from Majura Gate to Saroli Dead End. The project will cost Rs 702.02 crore.

The project has a 26-month completion window for the company.
