Demand for Luxury Homes Surges


A recent survey reveals that 5.5% of prospective homebuyers are eyeing properties priced over Rs 1 crore, with particular interest in the Rs 3.5 to 5 crore segment across 13 major cities in India.

The survey highlights a significant surge in demand for luxury and ultra-luxury homes, with 35% of respondents showing strong interest—almost double the 18% recorded in the previous quarter.

Additionally, the preference for larger living spaces is evident, with 45% of respondents seeking homes over 2,000 square feet. More than half of the buyers (56%) are looking for 3-BHK or larger configurations, signaling a shift towards more spacious and functional homes.
