DDA to Offer 2,500 Flats Under Sasta Ghar Scheme
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is set to offer 2,500 flats under the second phase of its Sasta Ghar Scheme, which will begin on November 14. This initiative is aimed at providing affordable housing options to low- and middle-income groups in the national capital.
The flats available in this phase will be located in various areas across Delhi, designed to cater to the needs of the city's growing population. The DDA's Sasta Ghar Scheme is part of the government’s broader effort to address the housing shortage in urban areas by offering homes at subsidized rates, making them accessible to a wider range of buyers.
These homes will be available through an online application process, with interested buyers required to meet specific eligibility criteria to apply. The flats are expected to have competitive pricing, considering the location and amenities, thus encouraging more people to consider owning homes in Delhi’s prime areas.
The Sasta Ghar Scheme is a key part of Delhi’s housing policy to promote urban development, ease the housing crisis, and ensure that affordable housing is available to all segments of the population. The DDA's efforts come at a time when there is an increasing demand for affordable residential units in metropolitan cities, with rising urban migration and a demand for quality living spaces.
