Datta Power Infra Signs PPA with SECI for 50-MW Wind Project

Datta Power Infra announced that one of its group firms has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the state-owned Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to supply electricity from its 50-MW wind energy project.

The project is part of SECI’s Tranche-XVII initiative, aimed at establishing 500 MW of ISTS-connected wind power projects across India. This agreement underscores Datta Power Infra’s commitment to scaling clean and sustainable energy solutions.

Varchasvi Gagal, CEO & MD of Datta Power Infra Pvt Ltd, called the PPA a crucial step toward supporting India’s renewable energy goals and building a greener, more sustainable future.

The 50-MW wind project aligns with the central government’s vision of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030, playing a key role in reducing carbon emissions and strengthening India’s energy security.
