Brookfield withdraws $ 600 mn from Indian infrastructure


Canadian alternative investment firm Brookfield Asset Management Inc. has reported that it harvested over $ 600 million from its India portfolio in the last few months.

During this period, the firm also deployed fresh capital into new ventures, aiming to increase its exposure to the South Asian nation. The New York- and Toronto-listed company, with $ 850 billion of assets under management worldwide, disclosed this information.
