Bridge and Roof Company Floats Tender for 100 MW Solar Consultancy
Bridge and Roof Company, a Government of India enterprise, has invited bids for consultancy services for a 100 MW solar project being developed by SJVN Green Energy. The tender includes topographical surveys, soil investigation reports, preparation of a detailed project report, and initial layouts.
Key Tender Details The last date for bid submission is March 11, 2025, and bids will be opened on the same day. Interested bidders must submit a tender fee of Rs 590 ($7) and an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs 10,000 ($114).
A security deposit of 5% will be deducted from each payment, along with income tax and other applicable statutory deductions. The consultancy work must be completed within three months from the issuance of the letter of intent (LoI) or work order, whichever comes earlier.
The total estimated cost of the consultancy services is Rs 1.9 million (~$21,762). Bidders may quote a percentage increase, decrease, or remain at par with this estimate. The final contract value will be determined based on the percentage quoted by the winning bidder.
Eligibility Criteria To qualify, bidders must have executed:
Three projects worth at least Rs 850,000 (~$9,736) each, OR Two projects valued at Rs 1 million (~$11,455) each, OR One project worth Rs 1.6 million (~$18,328) in the last seven years. Bidders must provide original notarized copies of work orders, letters of intent, and job completion certificates as proof of project execution.
Financial Requirements Applicants must have an average annual financial turnover of at least Rs 650,000 (~$7,446) over the past three years. Additionally, their net worth should have remained positive during these years.
A bank solvency certificate from the bidder’s banker, issued no more than three months prior to the bid submission date, is also required.
