Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) announced a collaboration with Bounce Infinity to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption in India through the innovative ?eDrive stores? at select BPCL retail outlets. This milestone makes EVs more accessible and popular among Indian consumers.
Strategically located at BPCL fuel stations, these multi-brand hubs will offer customers a convenient way to purchase electric two-wheelers. Pardeep Goyal highlighted the initiative's role in BPCL's sustainable growth strategy, transforming fuel stations into versatile energy hubs that meet evolving customer needs and support environmental sustainability.
This partnership utilises BPCL's extensive network to convert selected fuel stations into EV hubs where consumers can buy, test ride, and experience Bounce Infinity's electric scooters. The eDrive stores, operated by Bounce Infinity or BPCL's dealer network, will provide a seamless customer experience and feature on-site charging points, promoting electric scooter usage.
Vivekananda Hallekare, CEO & Co-founder, Bounce Infinity, expressed excitement about the partnership, which aligns with their goal of sustainable mobility solutions. BPCL's retail network will offer convenient access to Bounce Infinity's electric two-wheelers, ensuring high-quality standards and operational efficiency across all eDrive stores.
Bounce Infinity will support BPCL dealers with marketing, inventory management, and training to ensure a consistent product supply and enhanced customer satisfaction at all eDrive stores. By leveraging BPCL's retail network, the partnership aims to attract petrol two-wheeler owners visiting BPCL stations for refuelling, encouraging a smooth transition to electric vehicles.
