Bihar CM Sets Deadline for Land Survey Completion

Bihar Chief Minister has directed state officials to expedite and complete a comprehensive land survey across Bihar by July 2025. This initiative aims to streamline land records, resolve disputes, and facilitate planned infrastructure and development projects across the state.

The comprehensive land survey is intended to update and digitise land records, ensuring accuracy and transparency in property ownership and land-use documentation. This process will involve surveying and mapping land parcels to create a unified database accessible to government agencies and the public.

The Chief Minister's directive underscores the importance of efficient land management in enabling effective governance and promoting sustainable development. By ensuring clear and updated land records, Bihar aims to attract investments, support agricultural productivity, and facilitate infrastructure projects crucial for economic growth.

The land survey initiative aligns with Bihar's broader developmental objectives, focusing on modernising administrative processes and enhancing service delivery to citizens. It is expected to mitigate land-related disputes, promote land tenure security, and facilitate equitable distribution of land resources.

As Bihar prepares to implement the land survey program, stakeholders anticipate positive outcomes in terms of improved land governance, enhanced transparency, and accelerated development initiatives. The government's commitment to completing the survey by July 2025 signals its proactive approach towards achieving comprehensive land management and fostering inclusive growth across the state.
