Bid for a six-lane flyover on NH-53 in Odisha is invited by NHAI


At the Ainthapali junction on NH-53 (Old NH-6) in Sambalpur, Odisha, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has issued a request for proposals for the building of a two-lane ROB (LHS) and a six-lane flyover. Construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, construction and/or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, drains, and other structures are all included in the scope of work.

The existing carriageway will be upgraded to six lanes with or without paved shoulders. The anticipated price is Rs 2.44 billion, with a 30-month completion window. The defect liability period (DLP) has maintenance duration of ten years. The deadline for submitting bids is May 29, 2023.
