Bengaluru Metro: Cabinet Clears Rs 284.05 Bn Metro Corridor


On December 6, the Karnataka cabinet approved the 37-km Hebbal-Sarjapur metro corridor, which was estimated to cost Rs 284.05 billion under the Phase 3A project. The key corridor aimed to enhance connectivity between Sarjapur and Hebbal, passing through Bengaluru’s Central Business District (CBD) and Koramangala. Following the cabinet meeting, Karnataka’s Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs, H.K. Patil, announced that the Bengaluru Metro’s Phase 3A project, which spanned 36.59 km from Sarjapur to Hebbal, had been sanctioned by the cabinet.
