Avaada Commits Rs 207 Bn To Power Odisha’s Green Energy Drive
Odisha is set to become a major renewable energy hub as Avaada Group pledges Rs 207 billion for green projects. This investment will support 1,500 MW of floating solar projects, two 1,000 MW pumped storage projects, and green energy equipment manufacturing, boosting the state’s clean energy transition.
Avaada Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Odisha government to develop large-scale renewable energy projects. The MoU signed at the Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The event which is inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlights Odisha’s growing role in India’s clean energy future.
Odisha is attracting major green energy investments, positioning itself as a leader in the sector. Avaada’s projects will contribute to India’s renewable energy goals while creating jobs and driving economic growth. At the Make in Odisha Conclave, Avaada also showcased its diverse renewable energy portfolio, including solar, wind, and green hydrogen solutions.
