Assam to Boost Connectivity with Rs 2 Bn Gauripur Bypass Project

Assam is set to enhance its infrastructure with the four-lane Gauripur Bypass project on NH-31, a pivotal development expected to significantly improve connectivity and attract investment to the state.
The Rs 2 billion project will enhance transport links between key areas such as Dumardoha, Khudimari, Fulkumari, and Baladmara, ensuring smoother and more efficient routes for both local and commercial traffic. Additionally, it will strengthen road infrastructure, further reinforcing Assam’s appeal as a leading investment destination.

The project aims to ease congestion, drive economic growth, and enhance Assam’s attractiveness as a key investment hub.

The successful bidder has been directed to acknowledge the Letter of Award (LOA) and formalise the contract agreement within the stipulated timeframe.

Furthermore, the bidder must furnish a performance security of Rs 620 million, along with an equivalent additional performance security, within 30 days of receiving the LOA.

The completion of this project will mark a significant milestone in Assam’s ongoing infrastructure development, positioning the state as a vital contributor to the nation’s economic growth.
