Aramghar-Zoo Park Flyover in Hyderabad to Finish by November 30

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner, Ilambharti, instructed officials to expedite the construction of the Aramghar to Zoo Park flyover in Hyderabad.

During an inspection, the commissioner emphasized the need to complete the main flyover works by November 30. Chief Engineer CE Devanand explained the challenges faced in constructing service roads beneath the flyover. He highlighted that 17 properties needed to be acquired for the service roads, with five private properties requiring immediate acquisition to commence the work.

The zonal town planning authorities were urged to address the issue promptly by submitting proposals for compensatory payments without delay. The GHMC commissioner assured that the necessary funds would be allocated for property acquisitions to facilitate the early completion of the flyover. Zonal commissioner Venkanna was instructed to finalise the paperwork within two days.

The GHMC commissioner was accompanied by Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmad, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) executive director D Mayank Mittal, and other senior officials during the inspection of the construction site.
