Amit Shah to Inaugurate Rs 6.68 Bn Development Projects in Dhalai


Union Home and Cooperatives Minister, Amit Shah, is scheduled to inaugurate six major development projects worth Rs 668.39 crore and lay the foundation for seven more at Kulai RF Village Ground in Dhalai District. The event will be graced by Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, who will serve as the chief guest.

The inaugurated projects include a Senior Basic School in Bruhapara, Dhalai district, valued at Rs 1.56 crore, a Health and Wellness Centre costing Rs 35 lakh, a Market Shed worth Rs 1.9 lakh, a new building for Birashi Mile Primary Health Centre at Rs 4.85 crore, another Health and Wellness Centre at Ultachhara priced at Rs 35 lakh, and a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) under the Smart City project on Agartala Akhaura Road, costing Rs 25.86 crore.

The foundation stones will also be laid for seven more projects, including a Rs 120 crore Central Detective Training Institute in Agartala, a Rs 12.5 crore office building for the Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Ambassa, and a Rs 19.2 crore Sub-Divisional Hospital at Gandatwisa. Additional projects include road construction from Belchhara to Chanakhla in Khowai, valued at Rs 40.38 crore, and STPs in 11 cities worth Rs 88.15 crore. A Rs 318 crore road improvement project in Agartala will also be initiated.

The event will be attended by distinguished guests, including Lok Sabha MP Kriti Devi Debbarman, Union Home Secretary Govinda Mohan, and Tripura Chief Secretary JK Sinha, among others.
