Akasa Air implements Digi Yatra's facial recognition at 9 airports
Akasa Air announced the implementation of the facial recognition system from Digi Yatra across nine major airports in the country, including Bengaluru, New Delhi, Varanasi, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, and Pune.
The airline's spokesperson stated that the adoption of DigiYatra signifies Akasa Air's ongoing dedication to innovation and the provision of an exceptional travel experience for its passengers.
The Digi Yatra service, which is a fully biometric-based self-boarding solution, guarantees a seamless travel experience for passengers.
Travellers are now able to conveniently register their ID and biometric data, along with their flight details, on the user-friendly DigiYatra app before entering the terminal.
