28 BRO projects to be inaugurated by Defence Minister

Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, will open Siyom Bridge in the Arunachal Pradesh district of Siang, which would improve the infrastructure along the India-China border. This is one of the 28 infrastructure projects that the Border Roads Organization (BRO) will build to make it easier for troops from the Indian Armed Forces to operate along the China-India border and to transport heavy artillery.

The Along-Yingkiong Road will soon be home to the 100-m-long steel arch Siyom Bridge over the River Siyom, which will be constructed as part of BRO's Project Brahmank. This bridge is anticipated to contribute to better road connectivity across Along in the Upper Siang district and beyond.
