NCC Limited bags three orders worth Rs 6,388 cr in May 2022


Construction firm NCC Limited has bagged three orders worth Rs 6,388 crores in May 2022.

All these orders are obtained under the division of the building.

One out of all orders is worth Rs 5,688 crores and is obtained from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for Design, Build, Operation & Maintenance (DBOM) of Malad Wastewater Treatment Facility under Mumbai Sewage Disposal Project-II (MSDP-ll), according to NCC.

NCC told the media that this work includes Rs 3,833 crore towards Design, Build-in 6 years, and Rs1,855 crores towards Operation & Maintenance (O&M) for 15 years from the date of completion of the work.

The other two orders obtained from the state government agencies do not include any such internal orders, the company said.

In December 2021, NCC received five orders totaling Rs 1,898 crore exclusive of goods and service tax (GST). Three orders worth Rs 988 crore were under the building division, and the remaining two orders of Rs 910 crore were under the water division, NCC said in a Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) filing.

NCC Ltd was established in 1978 as a partnership company by Padma Sri Awardee Dr AVS Raju. In 1990, it became a limited company and was listed on National Stock Exchange (NSE) in 1992.
