UP CM Yogi Adityanath rolls out 10 projects worth Rs 15 bn in Noida

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently dedicated about 20 infrastructure projects worth over Rs 28 billion to Noida.

He also inaugurated 10 projects worth Rs 14.52 billion from Botanical Garden metro station complex. The projects inaugurated reportedly include a multi-level parking at the Botanical Garden metro station and Sector 5, government district hospital, foot-over-bridges in Sector 145, Sector 62, Sector 63, Sector 71 and Sector 72, two power sub-stations and four pink toilets. Besides, other projects unveiled include the Convention and Habitat Centre in Sector 94, Parthala Chowk flyover, intelligent traffic management system (ITMS), sewage treatment plants (STPs) in Sector 168 and Sector 123, Golf Course in Sector 151A, two underpasses at the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, LED streetlights and a start-up hub at the Botanical Garden metro station.

Furthermore, Adityanath also laid the foundation stones for another 10 projects worth Rs 13.69 billion.

As reported, the Greater Noida Authority will also invest Rs 930 million on roads maintenance across the city. Work on five such stretches have commenced with the tendering process being recently initiated. The stretches that will witness upgradation include roads in Ecotech 12, Ek Murti roundabout-Railway Crossing road, Gaur City roundabout-Tigri village road, Sector 16 C road, Sector 16 road, and a cycle track in Sector 16.

Further, Adityanath reportedly mentioned that a policy – the Chief Minister Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme – for youths will be launched, which will particularly be helpful for unemployed students from industrial townships such as Noida and Greater Noida. A sum of Rs 2,500 every month will be given to youths who register and pursue industrial trainings.
